Our Story

Cinematic Theatre Projections was created in February 2023 by Jay Welsh. Jay started his career as a performer on stage, performing in shows such as Les Misérables, Children of Eden, We will Rock you and many more!

Although Jay loves to perform, he also has a passion for animation. So in late 2019, Jay decided to explore the option of combining 3D animation with Musical Theatre and 3 and a half years later, Jay decided that he had created something worth sharing.

Jay's aim is to expand the boundaries on what is accessible for amateur and youth theatres to create and he will constantly work out how he can deliver more to help make the customer's experience the best that it can possibly be.

With experience in all aspects of theatre, from performing, stage managing, directing and set designing, Jay thinks of what the projections should be from every angle.

Although Cinematic Theatre Projections is a small and new business, we believe that we can deliver above and beyond expectations. We strive to be the first choice for you each and every time without hesitation. That means that we are always open to listen to what you want/need and we will do what we can accommodate, no matter how big or small the request.
